Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Data Management Leader to drive governance, MDM, and data migration across a global, remote-first organization. You will establish stewardship, ensure data quality, and partner with transformation programs and Enterprise Architecture to strengthen data as a trusted asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Management, MDM, Governance, or related disciplines.
• Prior leadership experience in Data Management or Governance functions.
• Strong understanding of Data Quality, Governance, Master Data, and Data Migration practices.
• Experience with ERP programs or enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Fluent in English and strong stakeholder management skills.

About the Role

Great decisions start with trusted data. At JBT Marel, you'll lead our Data Management team and drive the Master Data Management and Data Migration capabilities that underpin our enterprise transformation. As Manager of Data Management in our Data & Analytics domain, you'll establish governance and stewardship that make data a reliable asset across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• You’ll lead the Master Data Center of Excellence and the Data Migration team, partnering with transformation programs, Enterprise Architecture, and business stakeholders to raise the quality and governance of master data across a global, remote-first organization.
• Lead and develop the Master Data Center of Excellence
• Drive enterprise initiatives across Master Data Management, Data Quality, and Governance
• Lead the Data Migration Manager and associated migration teams
• Support enterprise transformation and ERP-related programs with strong data management practices
• Establish and maintain governance standards, processes, and operational controls
• Partner with business stakeholders to improve master data ownership and stewardship
• Drive continuous improvement in data quality monitoring and governance processes
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, BI, Architecture, and business teams
• Support implementation of scalable governance and operational frameworks
• Drive automation and adoption of AI-enabled capabilities within the Data Management and MDM domain

What You Bring

We're looking for a data management leader who pairs deep governance and MDM expertise with the influence to drive ownership and stewardship across business and technical teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Data Management, MDM, Governance, or related disciplines
• Prior leadership experience in Data Management or Governance functions
• Strong understanding of Data Quality, Governance, Master Data, and Data Migration practices
• Experience supporting enterprise transformation or ERP programs
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, fluent in English
• Experience with enterprise data platforms and governance processes
• Experience with automation or AI-enabled data management capabilities is an advantage
