JBT Marel is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to partner with the Further Processing leadership team, guiding financial performance and strategic initiatives across multiple countries and sites from Boxmeer. You will lead forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning, while driving operational finance and transformation efforts within a matrix organization.

At JBT Marel, we are transforming the future of food processing. We are looking for a commercially minded, internationally experienced Senior Finance Manager to partner with our Further Processing leadership team and help drive performance across a highly complex and fast-evolving business. In this role you will lead a team of experienced finance professionals, located in several countries. Based in Boxmeer, this role sits at the heart of our Further Processing organization and plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making, guiding financial performance, and helping shape the integration journey of JBT Marel. The successful candidate will act as the key finance business partner to the Further Processing leadership team, leading financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic initiatives across multiple countries and sites. The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders, international operations, and transformation activities. This position is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys building and improving processes, and sees complexity as an opportunity rather than a challenge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Business Partnering

Act as the primary finance partner to the Further Processing leadership team. Support and challenge business decisions through financial insights and data-driven recommendations. Drive financial performance, profitability improvement initiatives, and operational excellence. Partner with leadership to identify business risks, opportunities, and growth initiatives. Support strategic planning activities and long-term business development initiatives.

Financial Planning & Analysis

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating planning processes. Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial reporting and business performance reviews. Provide variance analysis and actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders. Drive forecasting accuracy and continuous improvement of planning processes. Support decision-making through scenario modelling and financial analysis.

Operational Finance Leadership

Lead financial performance management across multiple international locations. Drive alignment of financial processes, reporting standards, and key performance indicators. Partner with operational teams to improve profitability, productivity, and project performance. Monitor key business drivers and ensure visibility of financial risks and opportunities.

Team Leadership

Lead and develop a small international team of 3 finance professionals. Coach and mentor direct reports to support growth and performance. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the finance organization. Build strong partnerships across Finance, Operations, Commercial, and Corporate functions.

Business Transformation

Play a key role in the ongoing integration of JBT and Marel. Drive process improvements and support the creation of a future-ready finance organization. Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and enhanced business insights. Help shape new ways of working within a complex matrix organization.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Experience

Experience in a similar complex, international environment, including proven leadership of teams across multiple countries and demonstrated managerial responsibility within a matrix organization.

Proven experience in an international manufacturing, engineering, capital equipment, industrial, or project-based environment.

Strong business partnering experience with senior management teams.

Experience leading forecasting, budgeting, and performance management processes.

Experience working in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making and drive business results. Exposure to US GAAP is advantageous but not essential.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

Professional finance qualifications are considered an advantage.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Willingness to travel internationally within Europe and occasionally globally as required. Travel frequency varies throughout the year and is expected to average 1-2 trips per month, depending on business priorities and project activities.
