BDO Leuven is seeking a Manager Accountancy to lead a talented team and manage a diverse client portfolio. You will act as a strategic financial partner, combining entrepreneurial thinking with deep expertise to create business impact.

You will coach talent, drive new business opportunities, and share expertise via seminars, conferences, and publications. A hybrid work model and career growth through the BDO Academy are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in a similar role or environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Economic.
• Fluent Dutch and English; French is a plus.

What will you be doing?

You’ll lead a team of talented professionals while managing a diverse client portfolio. Your days include:

• Building strategic client partnerships through regular visits, becoming their trusted advisor on decisions that matter
• Coaching and developing talent while ensuring high‑quality outcomes for clients
• Driving new business opportunities by actively participating in developing projects and services
• Sharing expertise through seminars, conferences, and publications

What do you bring to the table?

• At least 8 years of experience in a similar role or environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Economic
• ITAA certification is a plus (we support your journey)
• Fluent Dutch and strong English; French is a plus
• Natural leader who's proactive, client‑focused, and pragmatic
• Familiarity with the Leuven region and a natural ability to broaden your network
