Job summary

S[&]T in Delft is seeking an MAIT Manager to lead the integration, testing, and verification of advanced optical communication systems for space applications. You will own MAIT and verification activities across disciplines, define milestones, and guide engineers to ensure robust, well-documented verification from development through acceptance.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical discipline (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering).
• Extensive experience with MAIT and verification of high-reliability systems.
• Experience translating system requirements into verification strategies and test plans.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the MAIT and verification approach for optical communication systems from development through acceptance.
• Coordinate MAIT activities across engineering teams, products, and locations.
• Define integration and verification milestones and drive their execution.
• Lead a focused MAIT team during integration, test campaigns, and documentation.
• Translate system requirements into end‑to‑end verification strategy (analysis, inspection, demonstration, or testing).
• Maintain the verification matrix and test architecture across components, subsystems, and system level.
• Develop verification strategies, test plans, procedures, and test reports.
