TNO Delft is seeking a Team Lead / Project Manager Optics Manufacturing within Space Systems Engineering. You will shepherd space and ground-based optical projects from concept to delivery, leading a diverse team and coordinating with international partners.

Qualifications

One must have a proven project management track record in space or comparable areas.
Strong ability to communicate strategically with challenging partners.
Structured, pragmatic, and adaptable to high-uncertainty projects.
Experience with industry partners and large international coalitions preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of technology development and optics manufacturing projects (space/ground-based).
Lead a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, researchers and technicians.
Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders and international partners; travel as needed.
Perform proposal writing and collaborate with Business Development for project acquisition.
