Job summary

Picnic Technologies is seeking an experienced technician for our new Fulfilment Center in Dordrecht/Ridderkerk. You’ll maintain and service cutting-edge intralogistics systems from Apollo, Qimarox, and Regal Rexnord, and coach junior colleagues to keep tens of thousands of orders flowing.

The role operates in a 24/7 environment with a 5-shift rotation. You’ll identify and fix electrical and mechanical faults, collaborate with machine suppliers, and implement preventive maintenance to maximize

Qualifications

• MBO level 3+ technical degree required.
• 2–3 years in a technical/maintenance role.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and Measurement tools.
• Familiarity with CMMS and SCADA systems preferred.
• VCA training and NEN 3140 are a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Independent, initiative-taking problem solver.

The job:

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve both electrical and mechanical faults in technical systems, working closely with our operational supervisors.
• Technical collaboration: Work directly with machine suppliers to solve complex technical issues.
• Analysis and improvement: Analyze recurring issues, prevent future breakdowns, and implement structural improvements.
• Preventive maintenance: Plan and carry out scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum system uptime and reliability.
• Continuous optimization: Initiate and implement improvements to make our systems smarter and more efficient every day.

About you:

• Technical degree (MBO level 3 or higher).
• 2–3 years of experience in a technical or maintenance position.
• Practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including measuring and camera systems.
• Interest in working with software tools such as CMMS and/or IC/S/SCADA systems.
• VCA training and NEN 3140 certification are a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• You work independently, take initiative, and solve problems effectively.
