Job summary

Prothya Biosolutions Netherlands B.V. is seeking a Maintenance Planner to lead the concrete planning and follow-up of maintenance and calibration activities, order parts, and schedule external service providers for preventive and corrective tasks on site in Amsterdam.

You will ensure GMP compliance, implement quality procedures, coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, and report maintenance performance to management, driving reliability and efficiency across the facility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor (University of Applied Sciences) degree in a technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance planning in a GMP environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, and maintenance processes.
  • Expertise in technical equipment and installation management.
  • Exceptional organisational and advisory skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Strong proficiency in Dutch and English for international communication.
  • Ability to work on-site in Amsterdam.

Job description

As a Maintenance Planner, you oversee the concrete planning and follow-up of defined maintenance and calibration activities, ordering parts, and scheduling external service providers for preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring GMP compliance, quality, and accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities
  • GMP Compliance Adherence: Ensure all maintenance and calibration activities adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance through meticulous planning and execution.
  • Quality Assurance Implementation: Execute quality control procedures for maintenance and calibration tasks, ensuring all activities meet established standards for equipment reliability, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities, coordinating effectively with internal teams and external service providers to ensure timely and efficient execution.
  • Preventive Maintenance Planning: Execute preventive maintenance schedules designed to proactively address potential equipment issues, thereby reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency.
  • Corrective Maintenance Follow-Up: Oversee and follow up on corrective maintenance tasks to ensure prompt resolution of equipment failures, minimizing production disruptions and maintaining operational continuity.
  • Ordering and Inventory Management: Manage the procurement of necessary (spare) parts and maintain inventory levels to ensure the availability of critical components required for ongoing maintenance and calibration activities.
  • External Service Provider Coordination: Contact, schedule, and manage external service providers, ensuring they comply with GMP standards and deliver services within the agreed timelines and budget constraints.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor maintenance and calibration performance data, analyze trends, and prepare comprehensive reports for management and regulatory bodies, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement in maintenance operations.
Your profile
  • Bachelor (University of Applied Sciences) degree in a technical field.
