Job summary

OSI Europe Beuningen is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to lead a team of technicians, coordinate malfunctions, and ensure timely, safe resolution of issues in a production environment. The role involves close collaboration with technical service, production, and QA to maintain high standards of safety and food safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has a technical MBO+ education (Mechatronics) with at least 3 years in a similar role, strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, and experience

Qualifications

• Technical education at least MBO+ level (Mechatronics) or equivalent.
• 3+ years in a technical role in a production environment.
• Experience coordinating malfunctions is a strong advantage.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering and installation tech.
• Familiarity with maintenance systems, preferably Ultimo.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize malfunction reports and follow-up actions.
• Ensure clear communication between technical service, production and other departments.
• Monitor progress of ongoing outages and improvement actions.
• Identify deviations in planning and propose improvements.
• Participate in improvement and investment projects.
• Ensure proper administrative handling of malfunctions in the maintenance system (Ultimo).
• Promote safety, health, and environmental regulations within the team.
• Collaborate with QA to support food safety and HACCP compliance.

Our factory in Beuningen is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator (m/f/x).

The Role

As a Maintenance Coordinator, you are responsible for effectively coordinating and handling technical malfunctions within our production environment. You manage a team of technicians daily, ensure clear task distribution, and monitor the progress of the work. You play a key role in minimizing downtime and ensuring the continuity of our processes. In this pivotal role, you work closely with the technical service, production departments, and other internal stakeholders, ensuring a quick, safe, and structured resolution of technical issues.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinating and prioritizing reports and malfunctions.
• Ensuring adequate follow-up and communication between technical service, production, and other departments.
• Monitoring the progress of ongoing malfunction reports and improvement actions.
• Identifying deviations in planning and making improvement proposals.
• Active participation in improvement and investment projects.
• Ensuring correct administrative processing of malfunctions in systems such as the maintenance management system (Ultimo).
• Enforcing safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations and promoting awareness within the team.
• Collaborating with QA to support food safety and ensuring compliance with hygiene guidelines and HACCP protocols.

Who Are We Looking For?

• A completed technical education at a minimum MBO+ level (e.g., Mechatronics) or demonstrable equivalent work and thinking level.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a technical role within a production environment.
• Proven experience in coordinating technical malfunctions is a strong advantage.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and installation technology.
• Experience with maintenance systems, preferably Ultimo.
• Good command of the Dutch language in both spoken and written form; English proficiency is a plus.
• Familiarity with quality and safety protocols (HACCP is a plus).
• Strong analytical skills, stress-resistant, and able to communicate clearly at different levels.
• Proactive, result-oriented, and decisive.
• In possession of a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
