Job summary

OSI Europe is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the technical team at the Beuningen plant. You will ensure safe production operations, plan improvements to machinery, and coordinate maintenance with service partners and Group Operations.

A strong focus on reliability, budgeting, and compliance is essential. Responsibilities include leading the technical department, optimizing spare parts inventory, and driving safe, compliant practices across facilities.

Qualifications

• Completed HBO-level technical education or engineering degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial disciplines.
• Experience in technical maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in food industry and multi-shift operations.
• Experience in a leadership role with good planning and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring production safety and the reliable operation of machinery and equipment.
• Planning and implementing improvements to machines and facilities within budget and plant needs.
• Coordinating maintenance activities, service contracts and maintenance intervals.
• Analyzing downtimes and improving equipment reliability.
• Providing troubleshooting and technical support for production and other departments.
• Managing spare parts procurement and optimizing stock levels.
• Planning local equipment projects with Group Operations and coordinating external suppliers.
• Preparing and monitoring the maintenance budget.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene and environmental regulations.
• Maintaining documentation of equipment and processes.
• Leading, developing and supporting technical department staff.
• Responsible for work safety, including fire protection, and HACCP team member.
