Job summary

Kramp Groep B.V. is seeking a Category Manager Machinery to shape the development of an international product category serving dealers and agricultural customers across Europe.

You will translate customer needs and market developments into clear assortment choices and commercial category plans that drive profitable growth. You will develop and execute a category plan, collaborate with Buying, Sales and Marketing, and turn opportunities into measurable results using data insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in category management.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into decisions and actions.
• Comfortable making choices, building business cases and driving from plan to implementation.
• Familiar with agricultural machinery, construction equipment, automotive or related industry is a plus.
• Confident English communication in an international environment.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Buying, Sales, Marketing and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Category strategy and planning for the Machinery segment, translating strategy and customer needs into priorities and targets.
• Assortment and lifecycle management, shaping a relevant and profitable portfolio with evidence-based decisions.
• Monitor market and customer insights and translate into opportunities.
• Oversee commercial performance including sales, margins, stock and profitability with corrective actions when needed.
• Lead business development and activation with Sales and Marketing to bring new ranges to market.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Buying, Pricing, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Product Quality & Compliance to deliver results.
