Kramp is seeking a Head of Category Construction to define and execute the growth strategy for the Construction category. You will identify opportunities, build strategic supplier partnerships, create a compelling assortment, and collaborate with country teams to grow our business.

You will lead the construction & buying team and report to the VP Category & Buying. The role offers a leadership position in a growth-focused environment across Europe with strong negotiation and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience in Category Management, Procurement or Commercial Management.
• Proven experience in Construction, Earthmoving, or Equipment industries.
• Experience with leading brands or market players.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
• Experience leading and coaching a team.
• Track record of driving commercial growth and category development.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

What is your role?

As Head of Category Construction, you will be responsible for defining and executing the growth strategy for the Construction category at Kramp. You will identify opportunities, build strategic supplier partnerships, create a compelling assortment, and work with the country teams to grow our business. Unlike some of our more established categories, Construction is still in a growth phase. This means you have the opportunity to influence strategy, build capabilities, and help shape the future direction of the category.

You will lead the construction & buying team and play a key role in developing category and buying capabilities within the organization. You will report to the VP Category&Buying.

• Identify industry trends, competitive developments, and growth opportunities.
• Define and execute the category strategy for Construction.
• Drive mid- and long-term category growth across our international markets.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Lead commercial negotiations and supplier management activities.

Who are you?

You are an experienced category, procurement, or commercial professional with a strong background within the construction industry with a strong knowledge of earthmoving machines. You understand how the market works, know the key players, and are comfortable building relationships with suppliers and manufacturers. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mindset and enjoy developing both people and businesses.

• Completed a Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience in Category Management, Procurement or Commercial Management.
• Proven experience within the Construction, Earthmoving, or Equipment industry.
• Experience working with leading brands or market players.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
• Experience leading and coaching a team.
• A track record of driving commercial growth and category development.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
