Job summary

EUROCONTROL Maastricht Centre seeks a Team Leader for Office IT to plan, lead and advance the Office IT team and its services. You will oversee workload, staffing, and performance, while ensuring secure, reliable Microsoft 365 platforms, endpoint management, and service desk support in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities include project leadership, budget support, procurement, and continuous improvement of IT processes with strong stakeholder collaboration across multi-national teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering/CS degree (EQF 6) with 4+ years relevant experience or
• Engineering/CS degree (EQF 7) with 3+ years relevant experience
• Experience managing Office IT services
• Experience in people management or supervision
• Experience operating Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive)
• Experience with endpoint management and Windows 11 deployments
• Experience supporting Windows-based infrastructure services (Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server)
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, authentication, remote access, printing and related infrastructure dependencies
• Experience in supplier management, procurement support, budget follow-up, incident management and service reporting
• Ability to drive standardisation, automation, reporting and documentation improvements (PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, dashboards)
• Awareness of cybersecurity controls, vulnerability remediation, privileged access management, endpoint protection, data protection and operational continuity
• Project management skills
• CEFR English at level C1 (CEFR)

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and monitor Office IT team activities, including workload planning and staff development
• Deliver, operate and improve Office IT services (Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, endpoint management, service desk)
• Ensure availability and supportability of Office IT services with procedures, monitoring and escalation
• Manage lifecycle and evolution of Office IT products, ensuring secure configuration and compliance
• Lead and coordinate Office IT projects, deployments and automation initiatives
• Support budget and procurement processes, supplier follow-up and service management
• Monitor performance, incidents, risks; perform root-cause analyses and reporting
• Carry out any other task aligned with the job purpose
