Job summary

Roland Berger Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Consultant / Project Manager to lead modules in larger projects and manage smaller ones, while guiding teams and maintaining direct client contact with top-tier Dutch and European private equity clients.

You will work with partners and senior colleagues on topics shaping global discourse—energy transition, mobility, digitalization—and design and lead due diligence and value-creation programs grounded in market analysis.

Qualifications

• You have completed an academic university education (i.e. WO).
• You have between four and seven years of experience in strategy and/or management consulting or in strategic and/or operational roles at a large company or in the public sector. Having prior involvement in >15 commercial due diligence projects is a requirement.
• You have technical affinity and commercial insight.
• You can think analytically and structure arguments clearly.
• You work with precision.
• You are open-minded.
• You have experience managing others and delegating work to more junior team members.
• You are familiar with/experienced in (financial) modeling (Excel), visualizing presentations (PowerPoint) and storytelling.
• You have good oral, written and presentation skills and an excellent command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead for modules in larger projects, and complete project management of smaller projects (typically leading three to five consultants).
• Coach and develop the consultants in your project teams.
• Have direct client contact and lead presentations during client meetings.
• Work closely with industry experts at Roland Berger.
• Contribute to Roland Berger’s knowledge development by capturing insights and drawing lessons from client work.
• Participate in office-wide projects (e.g. in-depth studies on current topics) that further develop Roland Berger or its thinking in a specific area or sector.
