Job summary

Roland Berger in Amsterdam seeks a Senior Consultant / Project Manager to lead modules in large projects, coach teams, and contribute to business development. You will work with partners and senior colleagues on automotive sector initiatives, building a strong presence and reputation in a global context.

The role requires 4–10 years in strategy/management consulting, an academic university degree, strong analytical and communication skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• You have completed an academic university education (i.e. WO).
• You have between four and ten years of experience in strategy and/or management consulting or in strategic/operational roles; automotive involvement is required.
• You have technical affinity and commercial insight.
• You think analytically and structure arguments clearly.
• You work with precision and are open-minded.
• You have experience managing others and delegating work to junior team members.
• You are familiar with (financial) modeling (Excel), visualizing presentations (PowerPoint) and storytelling.
• You have excellent oral, written and presentation skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead for modules in larger projects, and manage smaller projects (typically three to five consultants).
• Coach and develop the consultants in your project teams.
• Work closely with industry experts at Roland Berger.
• Contribute to Roland Berger’s knowledge development by capturing insights from client work.
• Participate in office-wide projects to develop Roland Berger’s thinking in specific areas or sectors.
• Take an active role in business development efforts.
