Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Conservatorium, Amsterdam is seeking a House Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. You will provide a seamless, friendly service and maintain cleanliness in public areas and guest spaces.

The role requires experience in housekeeping, a legal right to work in the Netherlands, good English, and accommodation in or around Amsterdam. We offer development and career progression within a luxury hotel brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining cleanliness, and order in assigned areas, ideally in a 5-star property.
• Legal permission to work in The Netherlands (permit or EU-passport).
• Good knowledge of English language.
• Accommodation in or around Amsterdam.
• A strong sense of responsibility, flexible work ethic, and eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide a seamless, efficient and friendly service at all times.
• Responsible for handling of work materials and inventory, ensure all equipment and cleaning supplies are used correctly and in accordance with the local hygiene, safety and security standards to guarantee safety.
• Ensure the cleanliness of public areas, storage areas, floors, offices and back of house areas.
• Support with cleaning of Guestrooms and Turndown Service.
• Forwarding Lost and Founds to the Housekeeping Office.
• Reporting technical defects.
• Delivering and returning extra beds and baby cots.
• Distributing laundry, room and minibar amenities to the floor pantries.
• Receiving, checking, cleaning, ironing and packaging of and delivering guest laundry and issuing hotel uniforms.
