Job summary

Rosewood Amsterdam is actively seeking a Security Officer to help create a safe, welcoming environment for guests and colleagues. You will combine professional security expertise with genuine hospitality, acting as protector and ambassador of the Rosewood experience.

You’ll conduct patrols, monitor operations, assist international guests, and respond to emergencies while maintaining discretion and integrity.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid MBO Level 2 Security Officer qualification or equivalent.
• Confident English communication, verbal and written.
• Experience in security, hospitality, or luxury guest services.
• Calm under pressure with discretion and integrity.
• Flexible with rotating schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols and monitor hotel operations to ensure safety.
• Assist international guests and respond to emergencies.
• Prepare incident reports and handovers to colleagues and emergency services.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Concierge, and others to maintain guest care.
