Job summary

Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam is seeking a motivated Food & Beverage Intern to join our luxury hotel team. You will gain hands-on experience across restaurant, bar, breakfast service, and events, delivering exceptional guest experiences in a historic Amstel River setting.

You will work with a dedicated team, learn luxury service standards, and develop guest relations skills while enjoying professional training and the chance to grow within Minor Hotels’ global network.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an educational program.
• Genuine passion for hospitality, food, and guest service.
• Enjoy interacting with guests and creating memorable experiences.
• Positive, approachable, and enjoy teamwork.
• Take initiative and have a hands-on attitude.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexible, eager to learn, and committed to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
• Support the daily operations of our restaurant, bar, breakfast service, and events.
• Prepare restaurant and meeting spaces to ensure every detail is ready for our guests' arrival.
• Take orders, serve food and beverages, and create memorable moments throughout the guest journey.
• Work closely with the kitchen, Front Office, and other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Develop knowledge of food, beverages, luxury service standards, and guest relations.
• Contribute ideas and identify opportunities to continuously enhance the guest experience.
