Job summary

The Landrovers in Amsterdam is seeking a Configuration Manager to guide clients through every decision in the configuration process, ensuring all specifications are complete before production and that the project stays on schedule.

You will translate customer requirements into precise production specs, advise on materials and finishes with the Project Director, and coordinate closely with internal teams while maintaining professional, timely communication with clients in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in interior design, product design, interior architecture or related field.
• 3–5 years in a premium, customer-focused environment preferred.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus, especially luxury interiors or interiors in high-end projects.
• Strong sense of design, materials, colours and finishes.
• Structured, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through every decision and stage of the configuration process, both in Dutch and English.
• Monitor progress and ensure all decisions are documented on time.
• Translate customer requirements into complete and accurate production specifications.
• Advise clients on materials, colours, finishes, and options with the Project Director.
• Maintain professional, personal, and engaging communication with clients, primarily via email.
• Coordinate closely with internal departments throughout the process.
• Identify bottlenecks and ensure outstanding decisions do not impact production schedule.
• Assemble Design Boxes and contribute to their ongoing development.
