Job summary

Objective Partners is seeking a Software Developer (Java) to build ultra-low-latency trading infrastructure. You will partner with research, systems, and operations to scale distributed platforms operating around the clock and drive microsecond performance gains for business growth.

You will architect, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java software powering core execution and analytics, while optimizing networking and data storage for reliability and speed in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience writing production-grade Java applications.
• Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience building scalable, automated distributed systems.
• Knowledge of low-level network and storage mechanisms.
• Pragmatic, maintainable code with a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to drive initiatives independently.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain enterprise-grade Java software powering core execution and analytical platforms.
• Enhance research environments to support new venues and products.
• Engineer distributed data storage solutions for high reliability and performance.
• Identify and resolve execution bottlenecks across codebases and OS kernels.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies to increase capacity and speed.
• Build monitoring tools and telemetry for anomalies.
• Optimize network protocols for minimal latency and high throughput.
• Conduct technical interviews and perform peer code reviews.
