Job summary

Jump Trading in Amsterdam is seeking a graduate to join our trading-infrastructure team. You will work on Linux-based systems, Python tooling, and low-latency networking across global data centres, ensuring high availability and low latency for our trading platform.

You will troubleshoot incidents, automate processes, and contribute to the design and optimisation of our network and infrastructure. Collaboration with trading and risk teams is essential to manage operational risk.

Qualifications

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical background.
Linux or UNIX experience, including shell scripting.
Practical Python knowledge.
Understanding of routing, multicast, Ethernet, and related networking concepts.
Strong attention to detail and clear communication under pressure.
Reliable and predictable availability.

Responsibilities

Monitor the health and performance of Jump's trading platform.
Troubleshoot system, software, and network problems.
Design and optimise network infrastructure for low-latency applications across global data centres.
Coordinate changes and incidents with trading and risk teams.
Manage operational risk and change control.
Document technical processes.
