Job summary

Nouryon in Amsterdam is seeking a Logistics Specialist Rail & Road to manage transport planning, execution, and monitoring across modal networks. You will optimize capacity, select carriers, route, schedule, tender, and build loads in line with defined processes.

In this role, you will coordinate shipments with site logistics, gather documentation, monitor deliveries, resolve exceptions, and support cost payment and invoicing while maintaining relationships with providers.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics planning and execution.
• Experience with ADR temperature controlled transport.
• Experience in international logistics.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and MS Office.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and report modal logistics activities.
• Coordinate with sites for shipment execution and documentation.
• Track shipments and resolve exceptions.
• Monitor KPIs and cost performance.
• Support freight cost payment and invoicing.
• Lead relationships with logistics providers.
• Identify causes of service failures and develop solutions.
• Assist in capacity planning and spot bookings.
• Follow Nouryon values and code of conduct.
