Job summary

KLG Europe is seeking a Site Manager for Waalwijk to lead a complex logistics operation where warehousing, value-added services, and transportation come together daily for a strategic customer. You will translate the customer’s objectives into an efficient, safe, and future-proof operation focused on long-term development and customer satisfaction.

You will develop managers and employees, foster ownership and collaboration, and maintain a strong presence on the work floor to ensure engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree level (HBO+/WO).
• At least 10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or contract logistics.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role with full operational responsibility.
• Experience in warehousing and logistics services.
• Experience with P&L responsibility.
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities.
• Experience with organizational development and change management programs.
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Directly managing a multi-manager team on a site-level in a complex logistics operation.
• Translate strategic ambitions and customer objectives into an efficient, safe, and future-proof operation.
• Develop and mentor managers and employees, fostering ownership and collaboration.
• Be visibly present on the work floor, providing structure, clarity and engagement.
• Take ultimate responsibility for daily site operation and for KPIs in safety, quality, service and productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and process optimization in partnership with IT, engineering, and QESH.
