As a Logistics Engineer you will be part of the Site Manager’s team, reporting directly to the Site Manager. In this role you actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the operational performance of our Venlo site, acting as the link between data, processes and day‑to‑day operations. By conducting analyses, identifying bottlenecks and initiating improvements you help the organization work smarter, more efficiently and more effectively.
What are you going to do?
- Analyze operational processes, performance and data to identify bottlenecks, deviations and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct root cause analyses and translate findings into practical and sustainable improvement solutions.
- Initiate, coordinate and implement operational improvement and optimization projects.
- Develop and maintain KPI reports, dashboards, cost analyses and management reports.
- Support the Site Manager with data analyses, business cases, presentations and decision‑making information.
- Advise and collaborate with internal stakeholders to make processes more efficient, effective and future‑proof.
- Monitor the progress and results of improvement initiatives and ensure their successful implementation.
- Act as the Site Manager’s key business partner by proactively identifying improvement opportunities based on data and analysis.

Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) or equivalent, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience in a logistics or operational environment is an advantage.
- Affinity with data analysis, process optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for making processes smarter and more efficient.
- The ability to identify patterns, solve complex problems and recognise opportunities for improvement.
- A proactive, independent and hands‑on attitude.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
