As a Warehouse Team Leader in Waalwijk, you will manage and coach a team of logistics staff, ensure efficient staffing, monitor safety and quality, and coordinate with Operations & VAS to keep planning aligned with production progress.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of team leader experience in a warehouse.
• Experience guiding, coordinating and coaching logistics staff.
• Experience in conducting job applications, absenteeism, assessments and performance interviews and filling documents.
• Experience scaling temporary workers and maintaining contact with employment agencies during peak season.
• MBO working and thinking level.
• Organizational ability to plan and prioritize for safe, smooth operations.
• Flexibility to take over tasks or help out where necessary.
• Good written and spoken English (minimum B1).
• Knowledge/experience with WMS and/or TMS systems.
• Basic knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
• Stress-resilience, accurate, organized and systematic.
• Solution-oriented and able to communicate at various levels.
• Certificates like emergency response and/or EPT are a plus; willing to obtain if needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage, instruct, motivate and oversee a number of logistics employees in an operational sense.
• Ensure efficient staffing and balanced work division in consultation with the Manager Operations & VAS.
• Act as information source and contact point for several logistics employees for the Manager Operations & VAS.
• Ensure procedures related to quality are observed.
• Report incidents to the Manager Operations & VAS and propose/suggest actions to improve safety.
• Draw up the work schedule and liaise with employment agencies.
• Foster good cooperation and communication with other departments.
• Maintain a customer-oriented attitude internally and externally.
• Start the team each day at the start of the shift.
• Attend daily meetings to share planning and production progress.
