Job summary

Getinge Eindhoven is seeking a Logistics Process Engineer to drive operational excellence across our European Distribution Center. You will lead improvement initiatives, analyze end-to-end logistics, and translate data into sustainable changes that boost service levels, efficiency, and cost performance.

You will collaborate with EMEA Logistics, IT, and field partners, managing projects and CAPAs while leveraging SAP and BI tools to deliver clear dashboards and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• Proven track record in process optimization and project management.
• Experience with SAP and analytics tools for reporting.
• Strong data-driven mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Become our new Logistics Process Engineer

As a Logistics Process Engineer, you will be the driving force behind operational excellence and continuous improvement within our European Distribution Center (EDC). By combining your analytical capabilities, process expertise, and project management skills, you will identify opportunities to optimize logistics operations and translate them into sustainable improvements that enhance service levels, efficiency, and cost performance.

In this role, you will connect people, processes, systems, and data to create a more efficient and reliable logistics operation. You will lead improvement initiatives, coordinate cross-functional projects, and work closely with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners to ensure that our supply chain processes support business growth and customer satisfaction. Through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement, you will help shape the future of logistics operations across the EMEA region.

What will you do?

• Lead logistics improvement projects and change initiatives across the European Distribution Center, ensuring successful implementation and alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze end-to-end logistics and warehouse processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance, service levels, process reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, including EMEA Logistics, IT, Business Units, Sales & Service Units, manufacturing sites, and external logistics partners.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve recurring operational issues.
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards, KPI reporting, and data-driven insights to support operational decision-making.
• Standardize and improve logistics processes through process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and best-practice implementation.
• Support strategic logistics and SAP-related projects while fostering a culture of collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain network.

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations, preferably in a complex international environment.
• Proven experience in process optimization, continuous improvement, and project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven mindset.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Knowledge of reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Dutch is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
