Job summary

The Protein Brewery, Breda, is seeking a Logistics Operator to support our growing production activities on day shifts. You will handle raw material preparation, goods receipt and shipping, warehouse management and a strong focus on safety and quality in a small, hands-on team environment.

Ideal candidates have an MBO level background in logistics/production, experience with hazardous materials, a valid forklift certificate, and a proactive, responsible approach.

Qualifications

• MBO-level education with practical logistics/production exposure.
• Experience in a logistics/production environment is required.
• Experience handling hazardous materials and use of PPE is preferred.
• A valid forklift certificate is required.
• Proactive, responsible mindset and good team player.
• Proficient Dutch; English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and supplying raw materials for production activities.
• Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods.
• Preparing and shipping outgoing goods.
• Loading and unloading trucks and tankers.
• Stock management and inventory checks.
• Ensuring safe logistics movements and administration.
• Maintaining clean and organized warehouse and production areas.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in logistics.
• Adhering to safety, food safety and quality procedures.

The Protein Brewery (TPB) is a young, highly innovative company that focuses on the development and production of sustainable food ingredients that contribute to active nutrition and healthy living. Who are we looking for?

To support our growing production activities, we are looking for a Logistics Operator. In this role you will be working in day shifts.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment, takes ownership and likes to maintain a clean, organized and safe workplace.

What are your responsibilities and scope in this role?

• Preparing and supplying raw materials for production activities.
• Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods.
• Preparing and shipping outgoing goods.
• Loading and unloading trucks and tankers according to applicable procedures.
• Performing warehouse activities, including stock management and inventory checks.
• Ensuring accurate administration of logistics movement and inventory transactions.
• Performing cleaning and housekeeping activities in the warehouse and production areas.
• Contributing to a safe, organised and efficient working environment.
• Working in accordance with safety, food safety and quality procedures.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and operations.

What does your profile look like?

• MBO working and thinking level, as well as experience in a logistics/production environment.
• Experience working with hazardous materials and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• A valid forklift certificate.
• A proactive mindset and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Dutch; knowledge of English is a plus.
