Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Roosendaal is seeking a Logistics Inventory Analyst to keep customer inventory in order and translate data from the Warehouse Management System into actionable insights. You will analyze processes, support improvements, and act as a liaison with warehouse and inventory teams.

The role focuses on identifying bottlenecks, developing long-term layouts, and creating automated reports to drive efficiency in the warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Good English proficiency since systems and communications are in English.
• Strong ability to analyze data from dumps and databases.

• HBO level education or equivalent thinking and training.

Logistics Inventory Analyst

YOUR ROLE

As a Logistics Inventory Analyst, your goal is to keep the inventory in order for the customer. Our philosophy is LEAN, and you will analyze how processes within inventory management can be further improved. You are, in a way, an advisor to your supervisor when it comes to the way we store our inventory. Your role is to translate the data in the Warehouse Management System into the things we actually see in the operation. You will look at tactical levels where the opportunities and bottlenecks are in inventory management. This will be the starting point for improvement projects that you will complete with the operation. The shared goal is to make the warehouse operation function more efficiently, in which you have a signaling and initiating role!

You are part of the Operations Support team for a retail customer at our warehouse location in Roosendaal. Your manager is the operations Support Manager, and you have intensive contact with various internal departments and colleagues, such as our Warehouse Supervisors, the Contract Manager, and the colleagues from the Inventory Control team. These colleagues are responsible for daily bottlenecks and issues, and you play a coordinating role for them. This way, you can convert daily obstacles into a long-term and structural solution. You conduct analyses based on historical and current data from the customer.

As a Logistics Inventory Analyst, you work on:

• Monitoring and analyzing order flows, for example with ABC analysis. In case of anomalies or deviations, you inform the customer and/or colleagues so that you can take action;
• Identifying and contributing to the structural resolution of problems within the warehouse;
• Developing the long-term (re)layout of goods in the warehouse;
• Developing automated reports and driving continuous improvement from it.

WHERE WILL YOU WORK?

You work closely with the warehouse operation and supervision, which means that you also frequently put on your work shoes and can be found in the warehouse. It's a dynamic environment where you serve as a resource for both colleagues and customers. Working hours can be flexibly scheduled within office hours (between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.).

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You enjoy optimizing processes within a logistics environment. You are good at accurately processing, analyzing and monitoring data. In addition, you are not afraid of contact with both colleagues and external parties. You are also resilient to stress and have a mindset where continuous improvement is key. Specifically, you bring the following knowledge and experience:

• Your English proficiency is good, as many systems and communication with colleagues and customers are in English;
• Good skill with numerical databases (Excel and WMS system) as you make many analyses from data dumps;
• You are familiar with ABC analysis;
• You have an HBO level of education and thinking;
