Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Venray is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a department, coach a team and drive safe, efficient operations. You will monitor KPIs, implement improvements and ensure a positive working environment. The shift primarily runs 08:00 AM to 18:00 PM, reporting to the Operations Manager.

You will collaborate with Engineering, HR and Operations to deliver excellent service for healthcare customers and promote Lean initiatives such as 5S and Kaizen across the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing a logistics or warehouse department.
• Coaching people and collaborating with other departments.
• Takes health and safety seriously and leads by example.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Identifies improvement opportunities and takes initiative.
• Familiar with LEAN tools such as 5S and Kaizen.

Warehouse Supervisor

YOUR ROLE

At CEVA Logistics in Venray 2, we are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who brings structure, energy and ownership to the floor. In this role, you lead one of our warehouse departments and make sure your team performs at its best every day.You are the person who keeps the operation moving, coaches people, drives improvements and helps us deliver excellent service to our healthcare customers. No two days are the same — and that is exactly what makes this role exciting.

As Warehouse Supervisor, you manage and organize the daily activities within your department. Together with your Assistant Warehouse Supervisors and warehouse team, you ensure that operations run safely, efficiently and according to plan.

You monitor performance, follow up on KPIs and take action where needed. You also look for opportunities to improve processes using LEAN principles such as Kaizen and 5S. Safety, quality, productivity and teamwork are always top of mind. Your main responsibilities include:

• Leading and coordinating your warehouse department;

WHERE WILL YOU WORK?

Your workplace is at one of our locations in Venray, where we have a campus of four warehouses! There you will be part of the Warehouse Operations Team, consisting around 20-60 colleagues assisted by Assistant Warehouse Supervisors Together you ensure that the orders are processed in a good and fast way. You will do this in a driven and professional atmosphere, where there is plenty of room for fun and connection! You report to the Operations Manager and your working hours vary between 08:00 AM and 18:00 PM.

You are a confident people manager who enjoys working in a fast-moving logistics environment. You know how to bring structure, create team spirit and keep focus on results.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 3 years of experience managing a logistics or warehouse department;
• Enjoys coaching people and working together with other departments;
• Takes health and safety seriously and leads by example;
• Communicates well in English, both spoken and written;
• Recognizes improvement opportunities and takes initiative;
• Is familiar with LEAN tools such as 5S and Kaizen.
