Job summary

Olympia is seeking a hands-on warehouse and logistics assistant to ensure materials and products reach the right place for trade shows and events. You will handle picking, packing, shipping, loading, and site setup across the Netherlands and abroad.

The role requires a practical attitude, physical fitness, and the ability to work independently or with a team. A laptop is provided and a company vehicle is available during events.

Responsibilities

• Picking, preparing, shipping, and receiving materials and products.

• Helping assemble products and prototypes in the workshop or on-site.
• Checking and processing deliveries.
• Working with a laptop and various logistics and transport systems.
• Managing and maintaining an organized and tidy warehouse.

Job description

No two days are the same. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that materials and products end up in the right place and that trade shows and events run smoothly.

Your responsibilities include:

• Picking, preparing, shipping, and receiving materials and products;
• Loading and unloading trucks;
• Assisting with the setup and dismantling of exhibition stands and event locations in the Netherlands and abroad;
• Helping assemble products and prototypes in the workshop or on-site;
• Checking and processing deliveries;
• Working with a laptop and various logistics and transport systems;
• Managing and maintaining an organized and tidy warehouse.

You enjoy organizing and getting things done, can spot what needs attention, and take initiative. You also enjoy working with colleagues and are not afraid of physical work.

In addition, we are looking for someone who has:

• A practical and proactive attitude;
• A valid Category B driver's license;
• Basic computer skills and experience with programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel;
• Good physical fitness;
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of responsibility.

• A full-time position of 40 hours per week (8 hours per day);
• A gross monthly salary between €2,600 and €3,000, depending on experience;
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer;
• 8% holiday allowance;
• 28 vacation days per year (based on a full-time employment contract);
• An 18% employer contribution towards your pension premium;
• During trade show and event periods, you will work flexibly. This may occasionally involve longer working days. A company vehicle is available for these occasions;
• A company laptop is provided; a company phone can be discussed;
