Job summary

Olympia in Venlo, NL, is hiring a Customer Service Assistant in Warehousing to connect customers, drivers and warehouse teams, and to handle data entry in the warehouse systems.

You will welcome drivers, check freight documents, answer queries, and monitor goods flows. The role is Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00, with a temporary contract leading to permanent employment.

Fluent Dutch and/or English, strong communication, and ability to stay organized in a busy environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role within logistics.
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment in helping customers.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or English, both spoken and written.
• Flexible, able to cope with a hectic workload and keen to develop your career.
• Structured and meticulous with clear overview when busy.

Responsibilities

• Processing and recording incoming goods in the warehouse system.
• Checking and processing freight documents and other logistics administration.
• Welcoming and assisting drivers at the drivers’ desk and providing them with the correct information.
• Supporting warehouse staff with enquiries regarding goods, orders and records.
• Answering queries from customers and colleagues and resolving issues in the logistics process.
• Monitoring the progress of goods flows and ensuring data is processed correctly.
