Job summary

TNO's Van Leeuwenhoek Laboratory in Delft seeks a Logistics Coordinator to organize and optimize logistics for materials, equipment and resources, enabling safe and efficient research. You will work with researchers, facility specialists and suppliers, professionalizing HTI logistics services.

Ideal candidates bring HBO-level logistics experience, experience with SAP/Excel, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset within a dynamic lab setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level working and thinking (HBO) in logistics, facility management, engineering, or related field.
• Strong planning, organizing and prioritizing skills with ability to multitask.
• Take ownership and translate improvements into concrete actions.
• Understand safety, quality, and proper administration in a high-tech research environment.
• Collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication with researchers, suppliers, colleagues and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external storage locations and manage materials, equipment and project deliverables.
• Organize and oversee transportation between facilities, storage locations and other destinations.
• Support logistics activities for laboratories, facilities and projects.
• Coordinate internal relocations of research equipment and assets.
• Manage cleanroom clothing, consumables, tools and supporting equipment.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, logistics service providers and partners.
• Identify and implement improvements in logistics processes and methods.
• Contribute to safe working environment by supporting BHV and safety regulations in logistics.
• Support researchers and project teams with logistics questions related to experiments.
• Coordinate logistics support for demonstrations, trade fairs, events and external activities.
• Contribute to operational continuity of lab and research activities.
