Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Project Coordinator to manage the end-to-end logistics process for large-scale industrial equipment delivered across international projects.
Working closely with customers, project teams, procurement, suppliers, and customs stakeholders, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of equipment worldwide. This role will play a key part in coordinating complex logistics activities and supporting successful project execution across multiple concurrent projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage logistics documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, customs instructions, and certificates of origin
- Coordinate with customers, project teams, procurement teams, suppliers, and customs stakeholders to ensure efficient logistics execution
- Calculate logistics costs and support project budgeting activities
- Review and interpret project packing, marking, and logistics specifications
- Process and maintain shipment data within customer and internal systems
- Act as the primary point of contact for logistics providers, freight forwarders, and customers throughout the delivery process
- Coordinate logistics activities to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery of equipment
- Develop and implement transportation contingency plans to mitigate delivery risks
- Manage transport claims and damage reports, ensuring appropriate recovery actions are taken
- Work closely with project execution teams to support delivery across multiple international projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics coordination within an international project environment
- Strong knowledge of import/export documentation and international shipping requirements
- Good understanding of Incoterms and their application across multimodal transportation methods
- Experience coordinating logistics activities for large industrial, engineering, or project-based deliveries
- Strong organisational, administrative, and time-management skills
- Experience supporting logistics budgeting and cost calculations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commitment to continuous improvement and sharing best practices
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
