Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supply Planning Execute, in a supply chain of low complexity, planning activities within a defined framework/system which mainly affect own organization/unit.
  • Supply Chain Management Carry out a range of supplier management activities, either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role.
  • Data Collection and Analysis Collate and analyze data using pre-set tools, methods and formats. Involves working independently.
  • Solutions Analysis Interpret data and identify possible answers. Involves navigating a wide variety of processes, procedures and precedents.
  • Quality Plan and coordinate testing and inspection of products and processes. Implement corrective actions or continuous improvement initiatives, and monitoring them to make sure they are effective.
  • Continuous Improvement Contribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work and generate new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements.
  • Operational Compliance Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization’s policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.
  • Information and Business Advice Resolve complex queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring the most complex issues to others.
  • Administration Produce, update and provide best practice support on complex MS documents, databases and other departmental systems, advising colleagues when needed, and using own expertise to help improve processes.
  • Work Scheduling and Allocation Assign short-term work schedules to a team of subordinates in order to achieve expectations while following established timelines.
