Job summary

Avertim Netherlands is seeking Maintenance and Facilities & Utilities Engineers to support expansion in Life Sciences & Chemicals. Based in Amsterdam-Zuid, you will develop and implement maintenance strategies, oversee automated security systems, and ensure reliability of HVAC, energy and water systems.

You should hold a Master’s in Engineering, have Life Sciences experience, knowledge of LCM, and bring SAP expertise. Fluent English is required; Dutch preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related).
• Experience in the Life Sciences industry.
• Knowledge of Life Cycle Management (LCM) of equipment and installations.
• Planning & organization – plan and organize own work effectively.
• Communicating & influencing – clear communication and active listening.
• Hands-on experience with SAP.
• Lean and Six Sigma methodologies or Project Management preferred.
• Fluent in English; Dutch preferred.
• Dutch working permit; sponsorship not possible.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement corrective/preventive maintenance strategies.
• Maintain and troubleshoot automated security systems (Fire safety, CCTV).
• Maintain facilities, HVAC, energy systems, water systems and other utilities.
• Ensure GMP and GAMP compliance.
• Initiate continuous improvement initiatives.
• Introduce new equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors to review and track job order progress.
• Manage quality-related aspects in maintenance (deviations, NCs, CAPAs, change controls).
