Job summary

A leading medical device manufacturer in Amersfoort is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair production equipment. This role requires expertise in mechatronics and experience in working with workshop equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining high quality standards. Additional skills in both English and Dutch are needed, as well as the ability to work in shifts. Comprehensive benefits package included.

Qualifications

  • Experience as Maintenance Technician, ideally with Steam Boilers and Valves.
  • Willing to work in two shifts (6:00-15:00 and 15:00-0:00).
  • Experience with workshop equipment.
  • Ability to read technical instructions and comply with safety and quality regulations.
  • Willing to work in two shifts (6:00-15:00, 15:00-0:00) and have own transport.

Responsibilities

  • Install new and maintain existing equipment.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Monitor and adjust equipment to ensure quality standards.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and complete all associated controlled documentation.
  • Monitor, maintain and adjust equipment according to validated data and instructions to ensure products meet our quality standards.
  • Ordering and maintaining appropriate stock of equipment spare parts and tools.
  • Keeping work area clean and organized according to 5S.
  • Working safely in ATEX-zones.

Job description

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our growing team at Applied Medical's European headquarters in Amersfoort (NL). You will install, set up, maintain, and repair equipment for the production of medical devices in accordance with technical instructions, health and safety guidelines, and quality regulations.

You will be part of our local Maintenance team and in addition, you will work closely together with our Engineering, Production, Quality and Safety teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install new and maintain existing equipment
  • Use mathematical or research techniques to solve complex problems
  • Assist with the commissioning and qualification of new equipment
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and complete all associated controlled documentation
  • Monitor, maintain and adjust equipment according to validated data and instructions to ensure products meet our quality standards
  • Ordering and maintaining appropriate stock of equipment spare parts and tools
  • Keeping work area clean and organized according to 5S
  • Working safely in ATEX-zones
What you bring
  • MBO 3 in Mechatronics, Mechanical or VAPRO-B
  • Experience as Maintenance Technician, ideally with Steam Boilers and Valves and Pneumatic systems and Pressure valves
  • Experience with grinders, column drills, bandsaw, and other workshop equipment
  • Proficient level of English and Dutch, both spoken and written
  • Willing to work in two shifts (6:00-15:00 and 15:00-0:00), make use of own transport
