Redbear Tech seeks an experienced legal/commercial professional to manage contract risk, oversee data privacy, and ensure NDA compliance across client and supply chain engagements.

You will draft and review complex agreements, coordinate with Commercial, Compliance and HR teams, and lead data protection initiatives including DPIAs for new services and technologies.

Formación

• Experience in contract risk management across multi-contract environments.
• Proven ability to draft and review client and supplier contracts.
• Knowledge of data protection laws and DPIAs.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience coordinating with legal, compliance, HR and IT teams.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver training on data privacy and security; conduct internal audits.
• Bridge between legal and IT/security teams on security measures.
• Draft contracts for internal freelance staff and secondments.
• Lead work permit processes for international staff with HR/Compliance.

Descripción del empleo

• Identification of Contractual Risk: Support Commercial Director in ensuring no unforeseen risk to RBT in terms of contractual commitments (incl but not limited to vehicle / office lease, accommodation and warehouse rental, temp services / utility agreements)
• Identification of Contractual Risk: Support Commercial Director in ensuring no unforeseen risk to RBT in terms of contractual commitments (Client and supply chain on projects)
• Ensurance of NDA placement: Support and lead with ensuring NDAs are in place with Client, employees and supply chain across the business
• Legal & Contractual Compliance: Provide expert legal advice on data privacy and security matters. This includes reviewing and proposing amendments to contracts with the Commercial Director to clients
• Client Contract Review: Detailed review including offering advice, proposed amendments and identification of risk with Client contracts received ahead of commitment to project and signature including ensuring any Clients contracts we enter into comply with data protection laws
• Supply Chain Contracts: Create and manage supply chain agreements across types of works and entities to ensure compliance with local law.
• Contractual Notices: Support Commercial team with any drafting of contractual notices either to the Clients or supply chain as required
• Data Protection & Governance: Serve as the primary point of contact for data protection authorities and data subjects. Responsible for overseeing and implementing the company's data protection strategy and policies, including conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new services and technologies.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal and data privacy risks associated with the company’s services, such as potential data breaches or non-compliance. They would also be responsible for developing and managing the data breach response plan.
• Training & Auditing: Create and deliver training to employees on data privacy best practices and security protocols. This role also involves conducting regular internal audits to ensure compliance with both company policies and external regulations.
• Technical Liaison: Act as a bridge between the legal and IT/security teams, ensuring that technical and organizational security measures are sufficient to protect data and align with legal requirements.
• Consultant “Black bear” Contracts: Drafting contractual agreements for internal freelance staff with the support of the Commercial, Compliance and HR teams
• Secondment Contracts: Drafting secondment agreements for internal staff with the support of the Commercial, Compliance and HR teams
• Work Permit Process / Global Mobility: Leading and arranging work permits for RBT staff in line with project requirements for internal staff with the support of the Commercial, Compliance and HR teams
• Experience working in multi-organizational teams.

• Experience in contract risk management and working within a multi-contract environment.
