Job summary

Limagrain Netherlands is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to provide ongoing legal advice to the various company units, and to draft and review contracts in Dutch and English for distribution, collaborations, licensing, and sales agreements.

You will support projects, supervise regulatory and intellectual property matters, negotiate with external parties, and participate as part of steering committees and project teams in diverse fields.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in business and corporate law.
• Experience as an attorney with international activity is a plus.
• Proven ability to draft and review contracts in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing legal advice to company units.

Job description

• Providing ongoing legal advice on various matters to the different Company units
• Drafting of contracts and other legal documents – both in Dutch and in English (e.g. distribution contracts, collaborations, licensing, sale/purchase agreements)
• Providing legal support in relation to the company's projects and activities
• Supervising court proceedings, handling regulatory and intellectual property issues
• Negotiating agreements with external parties
• Taking part as Legal Counsel in steering committees and project teams in various fields of activity.

Work interfaces:

Internal work relations: the Legal Team, all company divisions, subsidiaries abroad.

External work relations: legal advisors, authorities, negotiating parties.

Profile description:

• 2+ years of experience in a Legal Department or in a law firm practicing business, commercial and corporate laws.
• Experience as an attorney with diverse international activity would be a significant advantage.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law and regulations.
• Having a broad perspective and being able to manage complex cases and situations.
• Proactive, with excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in contract management and legal compliance (able to draft and review contracts/legal documents in English – compulsory)
• Proficiency in Dutch and English language.

• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
