Job summary

Canon Netherlands is seeking a Lease Business Process and Lease Accounting Lead to join the Customer Finance Team responsible for lease activities. You will ensure the correct accounting treatment of vendor leasing transactions under US GAAP and IFRS, provide guidance on lease classification, and uphold strong internal controls including JSOX.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance / Accounting or proven relevant experience.
• Accounting qualification (CPA/RA or similar) or proven significant accounting experience with leasing knowledge.
• Understanding of JSOX control framework.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lease accounting, business rules and processes development and monitoring.
• Internal lease transaction structure and optimization.
• External lease program implementation and governance with PLP partners.
• Lease reporting and balance sheet / P&L governance and reconciliation.
• Compliance and month-end procedures for lease activities.
• Collaboration with sales and other stakeholders to improve lease processes.
