Job summary

Henkel in the Netherlands is offering an enthusiastic intern role to support Production and Operations at the manufacturing plant. You will assist in optimizing production workflows, improving warehouse operations, and driving digital transformation with IoT and predictive analytics.

The internship reports to the operations manager and emphasizes sustainability and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Operations Management, Supply

Qualifications

Available to start in September for 5–6 months.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP or WMS systems is a plus.
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Enthusiasm for digitalization, sustainability, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

Support Production Management by overseeing daily production activities and contributing to Lean/Six Sigma-based productivity improvements.
Assist in warehouse and inventory management, tracking materials and finished goods and enhancing inventory accuracy with digital tools.
Collaborate across procurement, quality, safety, and logistics to ensure efficient supply chain operations and resolve bottlenecks.
Participate in continuous improvement and Industry 4.0 initiatives, including IoT, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
