Job summary

Stealth Startup is building an AI platform that leverages global social data to transform how decisions are modeled in organisations. We seek a Lead Platform Engineer to own the platform, define the infrastructure strategy and drive secure, scalable deployments across AWS and on‑prem environments.

You will work with 40+ engineers and AI specialists, shaping architecture, security controls and CI/CD practices to support regulated financial environments and data‑heavy AI products.

Qualifications

• Hands-on platform engineering, DevOps or infrastructure experience.
• Deep, hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments.
• Experience with AWS and on-prem infrastructure.
• Experience deploying products in secure or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of security, networking and access controls.
• Experience building and operating scalable production platforms.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, containers and CI/CD.
• Ability to make architectural decisions and own delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own our platform and infrastructure strategy.
• Design and operate infrastructure across AWS and on-prem environments.
• Build and operate secure, production-grade Kubernetes environments.
• Develop secure, scalable foundations for data-heavy AI products.
• Support deployments within financial, regulated environments.
• Establish infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD and automation standards.
• Strengthen security, observability, resilience and operational readiness.
• Enable software, data and AI teams to move faster.
• Grow our platform engineering capability as we scale.
