Job summary

European Space Agency seeks a PA&S Engineer to support the Exploration and Science PA&S Section. You will report to the Head of PA&S and contribute to the LISA Project as part of the Project Core Team, ensuring PA&S requirements are met throughout design, development, and review cycles.

The role requires a master’s degree with several years of space-PA&S experience, strong engineering knowledge and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least four years of relevant professional experience.
Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree plus four years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in PA&S management for space projects.
Knowledge of PA&S disciplines (quality assurance, RAMS, materials and processes, EEE components and/or software product assurance).

Responsibilities

Support PA&S managers in establishing and maintaining the PA&S requirements baseline.
Ensure implementation of PA&S requirements by industry and other suppliers and participate in reviews.
Monitor the implementation of approved plans and specifications and verify resources.
Coordinate technical aspects of service support and act as the primary contact between service functions and project teams.
Plan, coordinate and monitor PA&S workforce support.
Represent ESA in boards for deviations, changes and corrective actions, and support safety reviews.
