Job summary

We ARE Renewables is seeking a Lead Engineer for an offshore wind EPC client, permanent staff, based in the Netherlands or Belgium. You will lead engineering, preparation, and execution of offshore wind installation projects, translating concepts into safe, reliable operations.

With a civil/mechanical background and 7+ years in subsea cable installation or offshore wind projects, you will review Orcaflex analyses, prepare work packs, manage budgets, and mentor teams on maritime projects.

Qualifications

• Fluent English is required for all project communications and reporting.
• Proven team player with strong communication skills across disciplines.
• Hands-on mindset with a safety-first approach to offshore operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive engineering, preparation, and execution of offshore wind installation projects.
• Develop detailed method statements for safe, efficient offshore operations.
• Lead by example on sea or onshore sites, delivering innovative solutions and safe results.
• Review Orcaflex analyses conducted by the engineering team.
• Review engineering reports, procedures, manuals and method statements.
• Prepare work packs for project execution.
• Translate theory into practical site actions and optimize operations.
• Support project with ad-hoc operational needs and respond to PM queries.
• Ensure planning, reporting, cost control and budget follow-up.
