Job summary

Copius Group is recruiting experienced Scaffold Supervisors for offshore projects onboard heavy lift vessels. You will oversee all scaffolding activities, lead multinational teams, and uphold the highest safety standards across operations.

The role focuses on developing personnel, driving performance reviews, promoting wellbeing, and maintaining a safety-first culture with strong reporting and regulatory compliance."

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scaffold Supervisor offshore, marine, or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience onboard heavy lift vessels is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing multinational scaffolding teams.
• Strong leadership skills with experience conducting performance reviews and workforce development.
• Good understanding of crew welfare, mental health, and fatigue management offshore.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills with ability to produce accurate operational reports.
• Recognised scaffolding supervisory qualifications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of offshore HSE procedures, working at height regulations, and permit-to-work systems.
• Valid offshore survival certification and offshore medical as required by project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the safe erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding structures onboard heavy lift vessels.
• Ensure all scaffolding operations comply with project specifications, offshore regulations, and industry standards.
• Promote and maintain a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements, permit-to-work, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings, ensuring safe working practices are followed.
• Coordinate daily scaffolding activities with vessel management, lifting operations, and other offshore disciplines to support project delivery.
• Oversee scaffold inspections, workforce allocation, and material management to ensure operational efficiency.
• Produce and maintain accurate reports covering progress, safety performance, workforce management, inspections, and resource utilisation.
