Job summary

Hudl in Den Bosch is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to own the mechanical design of our next‑generation camera hardware for athlete performance tracking. You will set technical direction for the camera platform, collaborating with electrical, firmware, optics, product and manufacturing teams to ensure reliable hardware in demanding sports environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics.
• 8+ years hands-on mechanical or electromechanical design experience taking hardware from concept to volume production.
• Strong 3D CAD and GD&T skills with materials selection and sealing principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead camera hardware design from concept to production.
• Define system-level requirements and conduct design reviews and DFMEA.
• Collaborate across electrical, firmware, optics, product and manufacturing teams.
• Write robust test plans and verify mechanical performance across thermal, ingress, and shock/vibration.
