Job summary

JetBrains is seeking an engineering leader to head the Kotlin Infrastructure team. You will shape platform strategy, scale the team's impact across Kotlin development, and work with a technical lead to drive architecture and execution.

You’ll focus on developer experience, build and release infrastructure, CI/CD, internal tooling, and secure engineering practices while coaching engineers and aligning stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams or large technical initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder alignment.
• Ability to evaluate proposals and guide pragmatic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Kotlin infrastructure evolution with leadership.
• Own planning and prioritization across infrastructure initiatives.
• Improve developer productivity and experience across the Kotlin ecosystem.
• Coach engineers, provide feedback, and assist hiring.
• Collaborate cross-team to evolve infrastructure platforms.
