Job summary

Lutech Resources seeks a Principal Instrumentation & Controls Engineer with extensive oil and gas experience to lead I&C discipline design across projects. You will interpret complex problems, lead engineering teams, and ensure compliance with standards while coordinating with procurement, fabrication, and project management to meet schedule and budget targets.

The role requires deep I&C expertise, strong communication, and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on high-stakes assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, or Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).
• 15–20 years of experience in oil and gas with major contractors or consultants predominantly performing detail design.
• Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of a professional engineering society.
• Detailed knowledge of design techniques and analysis methods, and detailed knowledge of the theory, content, and application of standards, codes, and guidelines as applicable
• Knowledgeable in project coordination and execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering tasks and oversee discipline design for instrumentation and controls.
• Interface with multiple disciplines to develop clash-free designs and ensure interfaces are clearly identified.
• Prepare, review, and approve I&C engineering design basis, philosophies, and technical specifications.
• Provide support to fabrication, procurement, and project management teams; ensure adherence to customer objectives and procedures.
