Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of instrumentation engineering experience, with significant exposure to FPSO.
• Proven track record in Lead or Principal Engineer roles.
• Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and offshore reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead instrumentation engineering across short- and long-term projects.
• Define and review instrumentation scopes, specifications, and installation guidelines.
• Conduct technical reviews of vendor designs and ensure compliance with standards.
• Support procurement with technical specifications and bid evaluations.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of instrumentation (ICSS) engineering experience, with significant exposure to FPSO
• Proven track record in Lead or Principal Engineer roles
• Strong command of ISA, API, ANSI, NFPA, NEMA standards
• Expertise in instrumentation design, specification, installation, and troubleshooting
• Experience managing engineering contractors, vendors, and multi-disciplinary teams
• Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and offshore reliability engineering
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments, including turnarounds and field execution

Role Overview

• Lead instrumentation engineering across short- and long-term projects
• Define and review instrumentation scopes, specifications, and installation guidelines
• Conduct technical reviews of vendor designs and ensure compliance with standards
• Participate in MOC reviews and provide input into process safety documentation (P&IDs, PSI)
• Support procurement with technical specifications and bid evaluations
• Provide turnaround support and oversee field execution during outages
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of instrumentation standards
