The Social Hub Amsterdam City is seeking a magnetic hospitality leader to manage Grandmother Café and Breakfast spaces. You will cast a team of original personalities, coach them to bring their authentic selves to work, and balance warm, intimate energy with a flexible, community-driven atmosphere across both venues.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in hospitality or community spaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead with presence on the floor across Grandmother Café and Breakfast (and M&E, in Sunny).
• Cast your team through creative auditions to find authentic personalities.
• Coach the crew to show up as their authentic selves, not a scripted performance.
• Balance cozy, rebellious energy with flexible, community-driven atmosphere.
• Use intuition to adjust lighting, music and room flow in real time.
• Maintain solid operational foundations so the team can focus on guests.
• Create structure and clarity so the team performs with confidence.
• Keep service consistent without rigidity, and use data to improve operations.
• Ensure compliance, safety and quality standards are met.
