Job summary

Jobtailor in the Netherlands is seeking a Freight Forwarding Team Lead to supervise and develop a team handling international road transport. You will resolve complex issues, coordinate with the freight manager and drive collaboration across borders.

The role requires 3+ years of freight forwarding experience, Dutch and English fluency, and full-time availability (40 hours/week). Leadership is a plus and travel for partner visits may be involved.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a freight forwarder in international road transport.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Full-time availability: 40 hours per week.
• Ability to supervise and coach colleagues with resilience.
• Leadership experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support your team with complex issues and resolve escalations when needed.

• Coach, guide and develop your team, encouraging colleagues to keep improving.
• Monitor the daily operation, priorities and progress within the countries you are responsible for.
