Job summary

Bloom & Wild Group is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to own security across our product and technology estate. You will report to the Engineering Director and define a 12–18 month roadmap to embed security so the secure option is the default for every engineer.

You will split time between strategic governance, shift-left controls in CI/CD, and hands-on security for AI workflows. Deep AWS/GCP experience and IaC are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Deep experience embedding security into fast-moving product engineering environments across AWS (ECS/Fargate) and GCP.
• Infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD security, least-privilege identity, policy-as-code, and continuous monitoring expertise.
• Experience with agentic coding tools to accelerate security workflows and securing AI systems.
• Ability to operate as an individual contributor/expert and translate technical risk for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define priorities and shape the security roadmap with governance, audits, and risk disclosures.
• Partner with DX to build security into CI/CD pipelines, code/dependency scanning, secrets management, and policy-as-code.
• Hardening authentication and securing AI workflows while accelerating remediation with agentic coding tools.
